Sudha Kutty is the Executive Vice-President, Evidence, Products, and Services at Canada’s Drug Agency, overseeing pharmaceutical reviews, post-market drug evaluation, appropriate use, health technologies, and health systems. With over 25 years of leadership experience in health care, she has helped drive system improvements through evidence-based practice.
Before joining CDA-AMC in January 2023, Sudha served as Vice President of Strategy and External Relations at Humber River Health and was Interim Vice President of Quality Improvement at Health Quality Ontario. She holds an Honours BSc from the University of Toronto, a law degree from the University of Western Ontario, and an MBA from Rotman School of Management. Sudha is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and recently earned her Chartered Director designation.
Thursday, March 05, 2026Canada’s drug review system is evolving, and this session will offer a practical look at what is underway at CDA-AMC. Two key areas of focus will be an overview of the Post-Market Drug Evaluation (PMDE) program and the CoLab network, which are changing how post-market evidence is generated and used. The session will also discuss proposed changes to evolve the Reimbursement review program. Attendees will gain insight into these changes and how they may be impacted.
