Webinar: New PMPRB Guidelines – Impact on Drug Pricing in Canada
Topic: Final Patented Medicine Prices Review Board Guidelines were published earlier this Fall. These Guidelines and the Patent Medicine Regulations they interpret, represent the biggest change to the regulation of Canadian drug prices in thirty years. The Regulations mandate consideration of health economics as a factor in determining the allowable price for new medicines, and mandate interaction between CADTH and PMPRB. The Director of Pricing and Market Access from PDCI Market Access will provide an update on how the changes will impact new drugs, and the implications for the regulatory approval process.

Kimberly Robinson, Director, Pricing & Market Access, leads the pricing and data analytics team at PDCI Market Access. Kimberly studied Biology at Queen’s University as an undergraduate and went on to earn an MBA from McGill and an MSc in epidemiology from Erasmus University in the Netherlands. She has over 25 years of experience across all aspects of pharmaceutical market access, including extensive experience with PMPRB pricing. Prior to joining PDCI in April 2019, Kimberly spent 18 years at Janssen, and operated her own pharmaceutical market access and pricing consultancy.
