The three options for payment are as follows:

  1. Credit card payment online
  2. Payment via cheque
  3. Third-party payment via cheque or credit card

If paying by cheque, you will need to print the confirmation and mail it to us with payment. Further instructions and the mailing address will be provided in the confirmation email.

Please note: Under the new incorporated CAPRA, credits for meetings can no longer be issued. In order to attend a dinner meeting, payment must be received prior to the meeting (either by mail in advance of the meeting or in person at the registration desk). Please be advised that cheques should not be mailed less than a week prior to the meeting. Registrants for whom payment has not been received will be refused entry to the meeting.

Description: The medical device industry is facing an overwhelming volume of challenges.  Multiple regulatory changes in Canada, US and EU with huge impact to our industry also affects our profession.  The presentation will provide a high level overview of the changes, impact on timelines and financial burden of this perfect storm.

Kathryn Ronalds is an associate director with the Medical Devices Department of Mapi Strategic Regulatory Services.  Mapi SRS offers consulting services for Regulatory, Quality and Pharmacovigilance across therapeutic products industries.   Kathryn has over twenty years of experience working in the field of medical device regulatory affairs.  She spent the first ten years of her medical device career with Stryker Canada.  At Mapi, she is responsible for managing medical device investigational and licensing submissions to Health Canada.  She specializes in post-market responsibilities for medical device importers and distributors in Canada.  She holds a Master’s Degree in Humanities from McMaster University, a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Brock University, and maintains Canadian Regulatory Affairs Certification through RAPS.
