Health Canada
Matt Ryan is the Manager of the Office of Regulatory and Strategic Activities in the Medical Devices Compliance Program in the Regulatory Operations & Enforcement Branch. Matt has been with Health Canada since 2005 and worked in both pharmaceutical and medical device regulation in various capacities including project management, policy and as a senior advisor in the Director General’s Office of the Therapeutic Products Directorate as well as the Assistant Deputy Minister’s Office in the Health Products and Food Branch. Prior to joining Health Canada, Matt worked for 7 years in pharmaceutical manufacturing and regulatory affairs. Matt has an Honours Bachelor of Science and Business Degree from the University of Waterloo.
